Pastor John Bak

Pastor John was born in Korea but raised as a missionary child in Thailand. He came to the U.S. hoping to find meaning through his studies in Philosophy and Sociology. In his search for purpose, he rediscovered God’s love for the world through the church. Pastor John continued to seek meaning but this time in God’s eternal kingdom which has led him to the youth whom, “kingdom of heaven belongs to the like of these.” (Matthew 19:14). Pastor John attended Princeton Seminary while working in youth ministry for two years, now God has called him to KPCMD in 2020 to serve the youth of Detroit.
